Operation Endurance

Operation Endurance 12 hour went not as expected or well as I wanted. But it wasn't a failure. I should have known better and sat down to look at my training that I have been doing the past 3 months. I haven't raced at all, and my longest training run was 25 miles. I'm not making excuses for myself but I could have made smarter decisions and more doable goals. I don't really want to say anything about what of, could ofs, or ifs. I need to focus on even though I had a bad day, my bad day was actually pretty good. As weird as that sounds. The good... So running a PR 50 mile off a 25 mile training run, I'm pretty stoked about. I ended up getting in I think almost 51 miles. The bad or best known as my decision... I stopped 4.5 hours early. I still had plenty of time to get in over 70 miles for the 12 hours. I started to get frustrated because I didn't meet my 50 mile goal, even though I PRed. So I decided I was done. The ugly lesson...
